Thrive has supported more than 50 families by offering midwifery services either free of charge or at a reduced cost. These services encompass all aspects of prenatal care, birth services, and postpartum care, including home visits, birth education classes, necessary labs and ultrasounds, prenatal yoga, and consultations with our holistic practitioners as needed.
LOW Cost BIRTH & HEALTH SERVICES
We are in a crisis. The United States has the highest maternal mortality rate among developed nations. However, statistics reveal that midwifery care can lower maternal mortality rates and improve birth outcomes for both mothers and infants. Thrive Wellness Collective, a 501c3 non-profit organization, endeavors to make midwifery and holistic healthcare accessible to all individuals, regardless of their economic status. In addition to these services, we also provide education that promotes better birth outcomes and lifelong wellness.
FIND WHAT YOU NEED
Thrive organizes bi-monthly gatherings that provide an opportunity for new parents and their children to connect with others in the community. These events take place on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month, from 1-3pm. Partners and littles always welcomed to attend, kindly register by sending an email to email@example.com.
NEW PARENT MEET-UPS
Every woman deserves support when experiencing the end of a pregnancy. Thrive offers a complimentary non-urgent visit with a midwife for those currently going through a loss or have experienced one in the past. Additionally, we help provide free support boxes from "Box for Loss".
Thrive is committed to providing more educational opportunities for families. Our classes cover a wide range of topics from menstrual cycles, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), birth control education to movement classes like prenatal yoga. We invite you to attend our upcoming classes and gain the confidence to embark on your health journey.
CLASSES FOCUSED ON EDUCATION
Our childbirth education courses help to equip couples with the knowledge and skills needed to advocate for the birth experience they desire. By providing information on the physiological aspects of childbirth and what to expect during the process, we aim to increase parents' readiness and confidence. Education leads to better birth outcomes.
Our program serves as a vital connection between compassionate mothers in our community who wish to support one another through breast milk donation. We understand that certain circumstances may arise where families are in need of additional milk supply. Whether it's due to a baby facing challenges in thriving, a mother experiencing low milk production, or a situation where the baby or mother requires hospitalization, our program aims to provide support during these critical moments.
